1 Our accommodations were in the 400 year old Baoguo Monastery, located within the "Bao Guo Temple" complex, a short ten minute walk from the centre of "Emeishan City".

3 As with most monasteries, the accommodations were basic, comfortable and spotlessly clean. One quirk was that if you wanted hot water to bathe with, you had from 6PM to 7PM to avail yourself of the communal showers.
